THE SIGH OF THE UGLY (short synopsis)
Carnival is coming, the most awaited party by the inhabitants of the small Tropical Island. The Mayor (Rubén Blades), who governs as he pleases, is infatuated with his daughter being the Queen, but is rejected by the residents who oppose his authority and put him through thousands of incidents, when a guest appears unexpected that revolutionized everyone on the island. Traps, gadgets and failed love affairs are just some of the thousand and one entanglements and vicissitudes that the inhabitants of the island will go through in the preparations for the long-awaited and joyous Carnival.
