BOX 25

BOX 25 (short synopsis)

Box 25 narrates the tortuous relationship between Panama and the United States, a marriage that lasted a century. The Panama Canal is just the backdrop behind the stories of the ordinary men who made their sweat a reality, the construction of the Panama Canal. The documentary is based on letters written in 1963 by the builders themselves, narrating their experiences in those years and which are part of a historical legacy that today does not belong to Panama. The rescue of these memories that are found in the Library of Congress in Washington makes the defragmented historical memory of the Panamanian people forceful.
